Global Experience Specialists (GES) has signed an agreement with Event Sustainability Live (ESL), making the brand an official partner, as well as the event’s construction specialists. The agreement also sees GES provide infrastructure and consultancy to Event Sustainably Live and its partner event, Event Tech Live.
The partnership is part of GES’s vision to support sector initiatives that create a more sustainable market, and to put its own initiatives into practice in green meetings. As part of the partnership, the show will ‘signal’ areas of sustainable action throughout the exhibition, signifying the many positive stories associated with the building of the event. This will be reinforced at GES’s own stand (F40), where the company will share its holistic approach to greener events.
Throughout 2023, GES has unveiled a number of innovations around this theme that have led to large-scale, macro-impact changes within the event infrastructure, many of which will be deployed at the event and across the venue, ExCeL London, where GES has been working. operational facilities on site.
The co-located shows, organized by Event Industry News, provide GES with a unique platform to not only share its experiences in the field of sustainability, but also learn from colleagues. GES has demonstrated commitment across the leadership team and, as an industry leader, sees a responsibility to drive progress on behalf of the industry.
The brand has already achieved Silver member status for the Sustainable Event Standards extended by the Events Industry Council, as well as ISO45001 and ISO20121, and recently partnered with Seismic to follow the B-corp framework and drive its own sustainability roadmap .
“We are excited to join an event that meets so many of our sustainability credentials. The shows provide us with a unique platform to not only share best practices, but also learn from other industry experts. Sustainability has become such a crucial part of what we do that we are pleased to support an event dedicated to driving progress and educating our industry,” said David Langrish, Vice President Marketing, GTES EMEA.
The exhibitions take place between 15e & 16e November 2023 at ExCeL London.
